Hey You! Yes, You!!

(...they say the race is much to fast.  It's o-kay with me, I'm keeping pace...)

Are ya paying attention over here?
It's us - Cole and Liam :-)
Ummmm, hey Cole?
Yeah, Liam - what's up?
What are those weird words up above our awesome picture?
Liam, my brother, those - are Bachman Turner Overdrive lyrics.

Will they go away if we ignore them?

*Did the weird words disappear, dude? No? Just keep staring*
Seriously, though!!

Hi Everyone!  It's Liam and Cole again :-)
Are we awesome, or what?

We are doing absolutely fantastic in our foster home - just getting ready for you to take us home to be part of your family.  We're still awesome at love and treats and crates and potties and all that - but we learned a new skill from our super cool Foster Mom!

Would you like to see?

Hmmmmmm??

Hmmmm??
(Liam)
Are you listening?
I SAID - Hmmmmmm???

Hey! Are you paying attention?  How much cute does it take?
(Liam)
As you probably already know, us retired greyhounds have to learn a few basic things that other dogs might take for granted.  Stairs.  Glass doors.  Screen doors (gosh those are weird!).  And cars!

We we've been getting lessons in how to get into the car, right?  And guess who's awesome at it?

WE ARE!!!

But let's do two more stunning pictures first, okay?  Here you go!

I say, could you pass the Milkbones, my good man?
(Cole)

Hiya!  How are you?
(Cole)

Do you think we might be an awesome fit for your family?  Well then just contact the great people at www.greytexpectations.org and let them know!  We'd love to meet you.  You could bring treats, you know.  Just sayin'...

Okay - now stand by for one awesome video from our Foster Mom - starring yours truly: Cole!!

Liam says he'll be in the next one entitled: "How to properly eat a cookie."

Love you all!
Liam and Cole.

Looking good Brother!

Liam on the left and Cole on the right.
Relaxing after a fun day in Gettysburg.

Hey there!  It's us, Liam and Cole!

Did you notice that we've combined our doggie blogs?  It's going to be fantastic!  Don't you think?

See, in case you didn't know, we're really brothers - littermates - and we do just about everything together.  Kinda cute, right?  Just a little?

We're doing super good in foster care, and we know that a lot of you have been checking us out online, so we thought we'd start filling you in a little more about our awesomeness!

Wait - time for a Cute Puppy (well, puppies, actually) Picture!!!!

You'll notice that we share some mannerisms - even
how our paw-paws get arranged when we lie down.
Okay, now that everyone feels better after that, let's get down to brass tacks.  Wait, brass tacks sound ouchy on paws - let's get down to fluffy marshmallows instead!!!

Yes!  Much better - and yummy, too.
We are so excited to be given the chance to be available for adoption together through GEGR.  It's a rare opportunity for a retired racing greyhound to live with a littermate after retirement.  We can't wait to find just the right family for us.  We're going to fit in like... like... well, brothers!!

Check out how talented we are at fitting in at our foster home:

Hey, Us too!!
(again that's Liam on the left, Cole is right)
And sometimes we just filter into the background...

You don't see us - we aren't here.
Unless you have treats..
But don't get the idea we're boring or anything!  (Gosh, why do we seem so boring, Liam??  I don't know Cole, but we better do something.  Fast!  I know - Let's be funny!)

Silly Puppy Time (cue the circus music):

Ack!  It's got me!!! But gee whiz...
It's kinda comfy in here.

Trying to sleep here, lady - do you mind?
Whew, that's much better.  Hey look, there are more!

Liam caught a skeeky-snake!

Selfie?  Or Photobomb?
You be the judge.

Yin & Yang.
It is that which divides us which makes us whole.
Who wants a couple more just for fun?  We do!  We do!

Have we peaked your curiosity?  Think you might be interested in having the chance to have two really cool brothers like us in the house?  Given how great of friends we are, we're going to be a breeze to have in the house.  Just contact the nice people at GEGR and tell them you'd like to meet us!

Brotherly Love and Brindle Stripes,
Liam & Cole

Ps. Let's see if the guy helping us type is smart enough to post a video of us here.  Wish us luck!

Post Playtime

After a playtime session, every dog needs a nap.  These two are no different.  These two boys are super sweet, have great happy personalities and love each other.

Cole on the left and Liam on the right.

Brotherly love

Where you find one of these boy, you are sure to find the other nearby.

The boys are doing great in retirement.  Still working on those steps. They've got napping down 100%

Meetin' and Greetin"

Took the boys out today for a Meet and Greet.  They did very well and were eager to meet everyone.  Both boys did very well with small dogs and children.

Love these faces.  The boys continue to do well in foster care.  They are learning all about toys and treats this week.  Needless to say they are very happy.  They continue to explore the yard and they were both a bit confused by the snow until they started running in it and they loved it.  Then they promptly came inside and took naps.

Just wanted to pop in to say "Goodnight".  Me and my brother are really enjoying our retirement.

Twice the fun

Introducing Cole and Liam.  A bonded pair of brothers who have been together their entire lives.  They were raised together, trained together and then retired together.  They rely on each other but are also not insecure.  Both are lovely happy boys.  Cole is more outgoing and will investigate first.  He gives kisses and has a super waggy tail.  Liam is a bit more reserved but warms up quickly, he does look to Cole when things are new.  He is very much a love bug.

Both boys will greet you with super happy tails and smiles when you come home from a hard day at work.  They both crate well but would be very happy to share your couch or bed (although in foster care they are not allowed on the furniture).

They are working hard on learning the stairs and mastering them with grace and leash manners.

Stay tuned for more of their adventures.
